Columbia Students Rally to #CarryThatWeight Together

For her senior thesis, a performance titled “Mattress Performance” or “Carry That Weight,” Sulkowicz will drag her dorm room mattress everywhere she goes. The project ends, says Sulkowicz, when her rapist is either expelled or leaves the school. The project was loaded with symbolism from the beginning.
